Alex: Hi, I just noticed you have an iPod and I'm just wondering, it’s a mission of mine today to ask the next five people I see what they're listening to.
Female: I'm just listening to Powderfinger.
Alex: Powderinger. Okay, cool. My mom warned me that girls listen to Powderfinger.
Yes so I’ll just stop the video there for a second, you’ll notice that I've just ripped on her for listening to Powderfinger. Now I've never heard any music from Powderfinger before but that doesn’t stop me from rippling on her or busting a boss to teasing her on her listening choices. So at every opportunity available, you should be teasing girls. Now don’t overdo it, but don’t under do it as well because you find that there’s two balances, you know, if you're too friendly, you get chucked into the friend zone and she won’t be attracted to you. But if you're too cocky, you get chucked into the jerk zone and she won’t be attracted to you. So you got to find the right balance and when you find the right balance of being nice and genuine and interested and being cocky and a bit of a jerk, then that’s what creates the magical connection of flirting. Alex: Like I said here, I'm going to wait for a friend for about half an hour but this might sound a little random but do you want to come join me?
Female: I mean it’s not really a quick one now—
Alex: I’d say it’s a really good—it’s a great coffee store, fantastic service, the guy comes around and he does a little dance, a little jig before, you know whatever you want.
Female: I can't try something to jig.
Alex: That’s it, that’s it, respect way to go.
Alex: What do you like about Australia apart from the guys?
All right, back to me for a second, you’ll notice that I've just instant dated this girl. I've been speaking to her for about five minutes, this is just a preview after all and I mentioned a really cool café, I said listen to this—head out to this really cool café. The guy comes around, he does a little dance for you, a little jig and you don’t want to miss out in a jig. And she knew I was joking but nevertheless, she played along with it and she says “Great! Let’s go, let’s check it out.” So it’s a green light for a girl who joins you on an instant date and she knows you're kidding around with them so let’s see what happens.
Alex: I have to—I’ve let you win something, I didn’t actually—I teach—I do teach Public Speaking but I also teach—I'm like a dating coach as well, a motivational dating coach and we’ve been—oh, what is that? Looks dangerous, and I'm actually making a documentary, a film, short film, teaching men how to be more confident around women so—now, have you ever seen a girl—a guy you're attracted to, or girl? And do you like—wow! They're really, really pretty and I wish that guy would approach me but he was like a little hesitant, he was like a little—
Female: Yes.
Alex: He wasn’t that confident?
Female: Yes.
Alex: Okay. Do you wish he was that confident?
Female: Yes definitely.
Alex: Oh cool, cool. We’re actually making a film on that and that’s what I'm doing now, I'm actually making a film on how to talk to girls and I've actually got a friend, he’s over there, you see that?
