Michael Peterson: Hello my name is Michael Peterson I've been working as an independent lock smith in O Park, Illinois for the last 10 years. Today I'm going to be demonstrating some basic lock picking techniques, for the days demonstration we will also be picking a following locks, a basic door enough, a single sided dead bolt a commercial grade lever, later on we'll also show you how to pick a room cylinder a pad lock, a can locker what is also knows as a disk lock, and a two wheeler cylinder lock.
For the day's demonstration I would be using the following tools, the tension wrench, a tension tool, the basic pick a manual pick gun, flat head screwdriver, a small fill up screwdriver and a two wheeler lock pick.
The information I would be sharing with you today, is going to be used for legal users and care should be taken when you using any type of tool especially when using it in a lock as I do not want to damage the lock. Before lock becoming an independent locksmith I worked as apprentices for two years with various lock companies, let's get started.
