Pocket Hoops iPhone App Review

Pocket Hoops is a basketball shooting simulator for the iPhone that basically just offers you the chance to shoot free throws at a hoop in a brick room. You are given an assortment of six balls that are all acting exactly the same but it kind of works in the fashion of those arcade games where your goal is to simply shoot over and over again at set time limit.

Unfortunately, there is no timer; there is no challenge to this game. It is just kind of something to pass the time by. It is not that fairly enjoyable. I am awful at this game personally. And it is very difficult to get how it works down. If you pull the ball back too hard and then let go, it will just launch on its own, you can actually hold it there for a second to get it to come towards you, so you are not shooting from underneath the hoop and then from there you do have to do this little flick with the rest to try and get it into the basket. It is enjoyable, it is something great to pass the time but it is probably not something you are going to keep on your iPhone for a long period of time.
