Byron, thankfully, has a little more variety than the trainers in this gym. It should be a pretty interesting battle because pretty much everyone in my team could have a little bit of action. I don’t know if they will, but I guess we’ll soon find out.
Okay, get through this gym. It isn’t really that hard, just come over here. Take the fourth option from down here, ride over this way. Come up. Go across and up and all the way up this way across the crust, down, up, all around and you’ll finally get through the gym leader. I also recommend you save before you fight. And then you will find out that he is actually Roark’s father. So he is a ready to take you on.
So, he is going to start out with a Bronzor which we all know they have an incredibly high defense. So, you’d better be ready to fight a lot of defense. It does have a few good moves. So, I really recommend you watch out for some of his powerful moves. I really can’t think of any right now though. I am confused, sorry, of course, I should remember that one. I definitely remember that one. Guess what, I’m not exactly in the mood to be risking things with confusion. Extrasensory is one its moves. I think it also knows zap cannon or is that flash cannon, probably a flash cannons since it’s a steel move. So you can watch out for that. ‘Flash cannon’ is actually a pretty good move. Has like an 80 power and has like 10% chance of lowering special defense I think.
And then his second Pokemon is a Steelix which is one big bad Steelix. So, fire type is a really help against it. I think it does know a couple of ground type moves. So, if you are using fire types, you might not exactly be safe. Ice fang, it knows that which is a little random. I though he will use something that could actually hurt me. Oh, he has full health restores too, so be careful if you plan on inflicting him with status which should be actually pretty nice if I can get a burn on it because then it would knock it out. Oh well, it can’t survive two flamethrowers. And his last Pokemon—Oh, Fire blast. I could finally get rid of Amber.
Now, the reason I like flamethrower better is because flamethrower is more accurate. And then it’s the last Pokemon. I’m not even going to try saving it because I don’t even want to try saving it. Bastiodon, something like that, but whatever, it’s a ground type. So, it’s really good to fight with some water type moves. Of course it also has the steel type, all we know is it’s a rock type—it is a rock type and steel type which means you really should have a water type which will probably be your best bet for taking it down. You’re done for, just give up. See, he can’t even use a potion because you use it on his Steelix. Oh well, that was actually a pretty easy gym battle. We expected it a little more challenge, but, oh well, six gym badges. I’m really moving along quickly now.
The mine badge, so you finally got that mine badge. And now you could use the Strength that you went and got in the Lost Tower and now all levels 70 of the Pokemon will obey you and he is going to give you TM91 which is flash cannon. Now I haven’t completely decided this, but I might teach it to Aqua Armor. I am not positive as of this moment. I think I’m going to sleep on it and think about it because I might want to teach it because it’s definitely better than Metal Claw.
So after six gym badges, you could finally leave the gym.
