In today’s pole dancing lesson, I’m going to show you front hook spinning or butterfly. And, I’m going to show you first how it looks like and then I’m going to break it down for you.
(Demonstration)
So, before I’m going to explain to you this spin, I want to talk a little bit about the benefits of pole dancing. I think that pole dancing does not get enough credit as an actual fitness workout. This exercise on the pole is actually incredible. I am surprised everyday how fast I’m building my strength and my flexibility. And, if you see pole dancing as something erotic, then I think that you’re really close minded and you should think about yourself.
Anyway, so I want to break it down a little bit for you. Before you hook your leg on the pole like this, try to do a couple of steps around the pole to get the momentum then hook your leg like this. And the outside leg goes like this behind you. I’m going to show you on the floor. So, you’re going to end up like this. And if you arch your back and switch your arm out, it’s going to look really nice. So walk down your pole, pull the inside leg, and then go all the way down. And you can do something graceful to make it look nice or something. It’s up to you. It’s a freestyle.
That’s a really good thing about pole dancing, it’s a freestyle. And, you can be as much creative as you want. So, that’s it for now and I will see you next time on Body Rock TV.
