Pre-School Prep For Your Child
Female Speaker: The topic is, Pre-School prep for your child. When our daughter was about two, people started to -- in the neighborhood, children about the same age have started talking about where are you going to send your kid to pre school? I don't believe I want to send her anywhere -- I being a mom, but then I noticed that I couldn't necessarily keep her occupied actually all the time and I had things to do during the day for an hour or two. So Arron said, hey, maybe we should put her into a daycare or pre school or something, just to get her socializable more, and let her hands on other kids. So we will try in the neighborhood, and look out for a place to do part time, and I will be able to get to the gym, and do Arron's things. She will be able to make friends and go to the park and it was really great. It's just about playing, with having snack with the group, and learning A, B, Cs and coloring, and all the things you could do at home, but they got to do it in a group and counter who they are in a group. It was really great, and then when she turns three, it was about going to pre care.
Arron: Well, as far as like preparing your child to go to pre school, again, I would say to really talk to other parents. The playground is a great place to talk to other parents, and parents are really eager to talk about that sort of thing, because everybody wants information and chances are, if the parent is on the playground, that their child is probably in or around your child's age, maybe you are, ideally you are older, because then you can kind of get the information from them. Where they send their child? What they expect from the school? What their experience was? And the thing to remember is that, no place is perfect. No school, no pre care is perfect. What you really have to do, is go and visit them, and when you walk in the room, when you walk in the door, it's really about the feeling that you get, when you are in the place. A lot of times people will say, oh yeah, this pre care is great, and we think, okay, it's going to be great, and you go there, but there is a certain vibe that you are picking up on, that's not you, and then you'll leave there and you look at your wife, and you think like, well, I don't know about that place. Everybody was saying it is real cool, and then you go to another place and you walk in, and you think right away, this is really great. So you really have to go to the place, and really trust your gut, really trust your intuition, when you go to places.
