Preventing Constipation in Newborns

Tiffany: My name is Tiffany from long beach, California. And I’m two months pregnant and I wanted to know what can be done to relive constipation in a new born.

Rachel Dodge: So hi Tiffany and that’s a very interesting question also and something that I think lot of parents and that being concerned about. Actually in young babies constipation is pretty uncommon and not something that we see a whole a lot. Rather most parents they concern because their babies strain and get red in the face and this is actually just them in normally pupping and not actually constipation and if you are concerned that your child has constipation, you should talk to your pediatrician about it because there could be something also more serious going on that would need to be look that and addressed.
