Mateo: Hi, so here are the most watched videos from the WinkSound.com community.
Rick: Right, these videos come straight from you. We’ve uploaded them to the site and these are some that we figured you just got to watch from our members.
Mateo: Mr. NedRush shows us live looping in Reason.
Mr. NedRush: So I’ve got this little looper which is really easy to make and it is done the same way as we done the same way with the beater. Matrix like of ducks the volume, embraces the feedback and draw away. There are two patterns.
Pattern one, which is unable, pattern two which is enable which is chosen by this button here. So once you’ve got some stuff set up that’s randomizing and just going nuts or whatever, just doing weird things you can hit loop and loop a part of it and almost sort of making new sequence and it’s a cool thing maybe to do live onto any method. I want to just show you.
[Demonstration]
Rick: Learn Logic Pro demonstrates side tune compression in Logic.
Mateo: So I’m going to double click on this compressor and up on the upper right corner, you’ll have an option for side tuning. So just to reiterate, in this particular track sends the bus, so if I change this side tune to the bus. Whatever is being played here goes out to the side tune. So let me go on to this part here.
We’re going to play this part with the kick but now it is side tuning to the compressor.
[Demonstration]
At first you don’t hear anything but we’re going to adjust this a little bit. You’ll notice it will start to almost give it a little echo effect.
[Demonstration]
Usually you want to put a limit on here as well, just to make sure that the levels are not going directly.
Rick: Srob650 explains minor delays in pro-tools.
Srob650: Just a little loop and have this separate snare track here and what I want to do is I want to put some delay on the snare heads. So let’s set that up right now, get them on an input and send that. It occurred a delay on here, just a long delay too.
I want quarter note delays for this but apparently determine that for this particular loop 432 is just a good speed. So, we’ll listen to this now.
[Demonstration]
So we just get one feedback and normally the way you’d increase that is that move the feedback bar up here and you get some more hits afterwards.
[Demonstration]
