Hey everyone! So, I’ve gotten so many questions about my tinted moisturizers and the tools that I use are Benefits You Rebel and Covergirl smoothers. So, depending on what mood I’m in, I would use one or the other.

Both of them work very well, they both have SPF 15, and so it’s perfect for summer time, both of them are very safe for your skin so if you’re Acne prone or if you have oily skin, these are safe to you.
Covergirls smoothers is a 100% oil free, Benefits You Rebel has its ingredient called ‘Alpha Bentone’ which is oil soluble. So, it sucks up all the oil in your skin. Common questions that I receive is, “Are tinted moisturizers a good substitute for foundation?” And I have to say, no it’s not a good substitute because the tinted moisturizers, they don’t have as good coverage as foundations would.
However, if I did want a little bit more coverage again, I will just set it with powder so Covergirl and your You Rebel both have two different shades. The Covergirl smoothers just one that I have is from light to medium and they have another one I believe it’s a bare to light but even they’re light to medium it’s very light compared to my skin tone or I mean I think it’s just like in general. So usually, I wanted to use Covergirl smoothers. I would set it with mineralized powder that is closest to my skin tone.
But here it is, I’m just kind of rubbing it in my hand. And you could still kind of see it and it has that peel finish to it so I always set it with powder so it’s more even to my skin. However, the You Rebel, this one is a darker shape where they only have two. The You Rebel is a lot closer to my skin tone, this is it. And this now is amazing. It smells so good. The Covergirl one, I mean it’s not like it stings or anything but I’m just still using the You Rebel. I had this very fresh scent and if you’ve ever tried it, you know what I mean.
But the Covergirl Smoothers, I mean it smells fine, it just not I don’t know. What else? So, case wise, the Covergirl Smoothers has 40 milliliters of product and then the You Rebel has 50 milliliters but the price difference is extraordinary. I mean it’s so crazy how much price difference is and how you’re really paying for the brands I think. Okay. So, Covergirl Smoother is about 750 at drugstores. I got this one and whether you buy it at Macys or Sephora, it is the same price, so it’s $28.00. Yeah, no lie, $28.00.
I was trying to think of why it is so expensive and it could be the brand and also the scent is amazing. And I have a lot more. The tint is a lot better but then again if I were to choose one, I would definitely go for Covergirls just because it’s so affordable. And if you want more coverage, just easily set it up with powder and you get that SPF 15, they’re both safe for your skin and so that’s about it.
If you guys have any questions or comments, you’re free to leave it here and I’ll talk to you guys later. Bye.
