Okay Kim, what easy tutorial are you going to show us today?
Kim: Today, I’m going to show you how to customize this poster, the prolines volume two. How to change the colors and add your photo. So, the first thing I’m going to do is I’ve already pull up my poster and I have all my photos up and I just dragged them here to the bottom.
The first thing I’m going to do is find my photo that I want to put and I’m going to use this photo as my main photo and I’m just going to drag this photo in, I’m going to first make sure I have the right area selected. So, I’m going to come down here to your photo here for the big photo and back to my image and drag it in. Okay, and then I’m just going to drag this up, so that is the current size view that on screen, press my arrow down and press enter and I’m just going to get this over. Basically, I just want to make sure I get my player in. I’m going to come down to my layer that I just dragged in and come to layer, group with previous.
Okay, now I’m going to add my next photo. So, I’m going to come up here, right now I have the curved photos on, there’s an area for small pictures and then if your turn all of these off, you can just add one large picture, but you also have to turn off the line.
Okay, now I’m at my small pick p and I’m going to go and turn that back on middle and my bottom because I’m going to use these and I’m going to drag my picture in and I’m going to put it over here and resize it and press enter and then come up to layer, group with previous and I arrow it over, make sure I have this base in it and now my middle picture. Once you get this in if you decide you don’t like the position, you can always move them around and I’m going to add this one to my middle position and I put it in the right spot. So, I’m going to drag it up. Just saves a little time if you click on the layer before, but it’s always easy to just drag it in to the right position. Come up to layer, group with previous and I’m going to resize, get my little arrows, press enter.
And my last picture and this one is going to go the bottom, small pic bottom, bring it in, resize, press enter, arrow it over, come up to layer, group with previous. You can rearrange the layers however you want. This is just to quickly show you how to get this in here. Kind of go ahead and change this, so I can see a better view, get on screen, okay.
Okay, this red actually looks good with this photo. I can see a little white over here and if I wanted to I could scoot that picture to cover that up and drag this out, just watch carefully and make sure you’ve got everything covered.
Now, let’s go ahead and change these. I’ve added a color fill for this and let’s make it all American color. I’m going to have the other one match it, double click, sample it and click okay or you could sample it from something in the photo if you wanted to, but we already had red. So, we’re going to with blue. We’re going to compare and change the text and you can make the text larger or smaller by using your numbers here. Obviously that’s too big, but it just basically can change it anyway you want. Same thing with the bottom here, you’re just going to add it however you want. If you make it smaller, let’s say if I change it to a very small size because it’s a long name, you’re going to want and take your move tool and arrow it, so that it fits nice and tightly together and the you’re going to want to reshape this, so that it is tight because it looks better that way and the if you need to, you can move all of these lower, it’s completely customized. I might also tell you that these little red, it’s suppose to be red, but it’s actually kind of a pink color. I’ve color coated these so that you can know that these are areas where photos will be going anytime you see the red, that’s usually a layer that will be clipped and you can also change the styles that are attached, little effects and you can go in here and play with all of these different numbers and customize it however you want, same with the text. The text layers have effects and you can change those however you want and it’s basically all the risk to it. Enjoy the template!
