Male: I am Steve Terrano, welcome to this episode of Absolute Body Performance. This episode is about protein guys, pay attention. Guys are always asking, Steve, should I take in power protein or is the protein I eat good enough? The answer is the protein you eat is better than powdered protein. Here is why. Because when you eat food in the form of proteins, those proteins last in the body longer. It takes them longer to digest.

Now, what that does is allows that protein to stay in your body much longer and allows that protein to mix with other forms of protein that you are eating throughout the day giving you a full compliment of the necessary amino acids and the necessary proteins. The other thing you need to be aware of is that when you eat fish, chicken or beef, you are eating muscle, muscle that already contains or is made up of all the necessary amino acids so you do not need to take any additional amino acids in the form of pills and you definitely do not need to take any more amino acids in the form of powdered proteins.

Have a well balanced meal and worry about lifting weights, that causes muscle growth. Love your body.
