Hey stampers, I thought I’d show this with you. I used A piece of 4x11 piece of card stock and what I did is I punched all the punches that I had. Now this is an older one, because you can tell by some of the punches aren’t even available anymore. So this is an older template, but anyway so the idea is when you punch all your punches on a piece of card stock, you can line them up in your catalogue, let me get that real quick this is the new catalogues love it.
Okay, so let’s just say we want to see an image here, let’s use this one. So when you take your template and then you would position it over top of your image and then you would know that that 1 and 3/8 circle of punch would fit with that image. And so the whole idea is that you want to get as many punches on one sheet of card stock and I went ahead and label them. I just wrote what the punch was, like the one in one quarter. 1 and 3/8, circle punch, that oval, but then I went ahead and made an updated template, this is the updated template, these are all the punches that I have, well I have more than that, but these are the ones that use a lot.
So anyway, so then you just go ahead and punch out your punch sizes and then we’re going to laminate it. Now this is the laminating sheets that I used, they’re from scotch and I get them at Sam’s and you don’t need a machine to laminate it. So that works out really good. Okay, make sure you had laminated them; this is your laminating sheets. I’m just going to open it up and you’re going to see this yellow strip right here you’re going to remove that and then I have 2 of my punches. You could just make one or whatever you know, I just want them all around there that I use a lot, and then you’re going to take your card stock and you’re going to boot that up to that sticky part where we removed it. And then you’re going to go on the opposite side and just kind of press that down and then I like to start it by lifting it up a little bit and then working on the back side I’m just going to press this down as I work around the template. So easy that is, that’s very staticky.
Okay, so then once I get like I don’t know about a half inch or quarter of an inch passed the template then I will take the second piece and align it u p with that and then continue pressing down my laminate sheet. Okay, that was easy, and then you can just cut out the template. I’m just pressing down this adhesive here to make sure it sticks good and you can kind of tell when you’re getting on there that if you need to press it down you can take your bone folder and do that too. I’m just using my finger it’s pretty easy.
Okay, so then there’s, see that’s very staticky. So there's your template and then I went ahead and made another set, so these ones are already cut in half, so all I have to do is just take them and you can keep them on your stamp pad space wherever your stamp and or just slide them in your catalogue and you always have them there with you. Isn't that great?
Okay, thanks for stopping by, we’ll see you later. Bye!
