Hi, everybody. It’s DJ Ty from agi@prodj.com and we’re bringing you some pretty killer information on some brand new Power Speaker from QSC. And if you’ve heard of these with the new K series is out and the K stands for a thousand. It’s 1000 watt powered cabinets, plastic, super-duper lightweight. The model we’re looking at today is the K10, pretty wicked stuff. I guess it’s 1000 watt amp, 129 dB peak output, 53 hertz to 20 K on the top end, 32 pounds, super duper lightweight.
I mean it’s nothing guys. Super tiny, can fit in the trunk of a car. Check out the back of this, it’s the back of the K10, tons going on here, you bet. We’ve got two sets of inputs so you have two different inputs, know what your combo connector, given you XLR and quarter inch inputs that’s going to pass through as well so you can daisy chain this out to another’s cabinet as well, a little hot over there.
Gain outputs for each individual input, you have some different choices here as well. Mic inputs, you can actually plug a mic directly into this baby, cord that a line of course, you can run from your mixer. And also on this side you can set this in for Line 2, this is only a line on Channel B but it’s got RGA inputs as well so you’ve got quarter inch XLR and RC is on this.
And you’ve got a post-gain mixed out so you can run this mixed input here and just daisy chain it off to another speaker, so you’re not going to do all that mixing. You can have all these all mixed on the back for the K10. So when you think about this you could have an iPod run in to here for some background music. You could run a mic into this side, mix it on the back for some pretty simple portability, run it out of here XLR and daisy chain it to another K10, hence a sound system.
It’s totally cool, 64 pounds and a couple of tripods and you’re good to go, afternoon picnic, corporate party, background music, something simple guys. Tons of uses of this as well and we’ve got this thing poll-matted here on the Ksubs and that’s a whole another video on itself. I mean look it’s a couple K10’s, a couple Ksubs, rocking sound system. So this is the K10, 1000 watt, powered 10 inch, two-way speaker from QSC.
