Ashley: Hey everyone, today I am just going to make a quick guacamole that you can take in your lunch. It is really fast, will normally take you about five minutes. So we just half an avocado, this avocado has little bit of brown spot, so I am just going to try and scoop a little bit of those brown spots out. I do not want to throw whole avocado though obviously, because still lots good parts on it. So, I am try and get rid of some of that bad stuff, a little bit won't hurt you though. And just -- once your avocado is ready, just take a spoon and and scoop it around and just toss it into whatever dish you want to take for your lunch.
You want about just a centimeter of lemon, maybe not even this much, you will need a half of this, that's all you need for a single serving. Squeeze that in there. Now, I am using a Thai green curry paste. This just a concentrated form of all kinds of different spices, it is really good it does add a lot of heat if you add too much. If you add just the right amount though, it gives you that nice warm heat in your mouth, but not burning. So all I want of this is about this much, looks like a quarter of a teaspoon maybe not even. So I just toss that in and of course I always loved to add fresh herbs to everything.
So, I have got some coriander here. So I am just going to rip stuff that I want off, about a handful and then with your coriander all you want to do is dice it up. You don't have to add this much coriander or it is also called cilantro. If you want to add less that's fine. Again, I have a habit of adding more, just because it is my favorite herb. Very traditional ingredient in Japanese cooking, again one of my favorite forms of cooking. So just toss that in there now with your fork, smash it all up.
Now, if you leave avocado out exposed to the air it is going to get a brown coloration on it just like potatoes. For example you cut a potato and you leave it out, same thing. By adding lemon this helps it not to go brown in your lunch so and there is a very quick and easy guacamole, you can take right in your lunch always taste that first. It needs a bit more lemon. It is pretty much all ready to go. Pop my lid on and I have just made quite healthy snack for my lunch. Thanks for tuning in guys, bye.
