Radius Atomic Bass Earphones - Product Review Alright guys so I just got a new pair of headphones sent to me. They have an integrated microphone into them. I didn’t mention the previous application review that I had posted. Anyway they are called the Radius Atomic Bass Headphones. I got the iPhone 3G set, they work just fine with the iPod Touch 2G, but the only difference is that these two have an integrated microphone built into them. So I haven’t tested them yet and apparently these headphones are just the sweetest headphones ever. They’re pretty good with noise cancellation, great noise isolation headphones here. Sound reduction that means when you put them in you can’t really hear anything going around you. What you’re doing is you’re focusing. Adjust your music, adjust your videos. So you will get more in depth closer view in about a minute or so. About 30 seconds actually, but I don’t know. I’m going to try these out and see what they’re like. Left, I haven’t used these yet either. I’ve actually only used a few, in your headphone. It fits good. I’ve actually only used a few in ear headphones before. I used the Apple in ear headphones that just recently came out. I used a pair of bass headphones, and I also used a pair of Sony headphones. Don’t buy Sony ones, I hated them. So we want to try this. Get a heavy bass song, because these are well known for their hip hop, their rap, their bass, their rock, the loud music that everyone wants to listen to on a headset. So hold on a second. Alright guys you just saw my little introduction with these headphones. First time of testing them out and the conclusion that I have come up with is that if you like audio and you have anything that needs headphones, buy this. I don’t care if it’s a CD player, I don’t care if it’s an iPod, I don’t care. I mean it could be a computer and if your computer has a headphone jack then you listen to your music really loud, buy these and wear these. These are the best things I have ever heard. I started listening to them. I listened to them a little bit after though, that introduction. It’s just a normal song, and I’m like alright. It sounds fine, sounds just like a normal headset; it just has noise cancellation with it, integrated. It’s just like a rock song, alternative. It’s actually a Coldplay song. So it wasn’t too crazy, but then I started listening to some other rap. I started to listen to In the Club by 50 Cent. God these things are crazy these things are insane. It sounds like you’re actually in a club right now. So anyway, these are the Radius Atomic Bass headphones, I did get for the iPhone 3G. They do have an integrated microphone. Very tiny, check this little guy out, that’s the microphone. That’s just built on to the wire, that’s your microphone. Simply click it, that’s your microphone. That’s on and off. It plays your music, so you can answer calls with it. It works fine with the iPod touch 2G, that’s what I’m using it with. This an insane set of headphones. It does come with a really tiny instruction manual. You don’t really need that because it’s pretty self explanatory on what’s your using. It comes with a bunch of other little earpiece sizes so if you want to have tighter fits or a looser fit, choose it. You can also just put on different type of earphone on. These pop off pretty easily, but anyway these just seem really flimsy to me. Like I started playing with it I’m like, alright what is this going to be able to do, because I’ve used other in ear headphones before. I’m like this isn’t going to be able to do anything this is going to cancel it. Yeah it’s got like a cool little U shape V—like I don’t know shaped to what I guess you could say, and I’m like okay well that seems like it will to be inconvenient. I had a terrible first impression with this. This U shape is completely necessary. You put it into your ear, and it feels like it’s a natural fit. It doesn’t even feel like you have earphones in like a lot of other ones do. This scoops right into your ear, it fits perfectly into your eardrum. Perfect sound, this little rubber it, I don’t know how it does it. It feels likes like it’s almost hugging to the inside of your ear expanding your ear. You really can’t feel these when they’re inside of you. It’s such a comfortable fit. I love the ones that already came with it on. I haven’t tried any of the other ones, because this fits perfectly. It works perfectly; the bass on these things are incredible. They’re called the Atomic Bass and they do not lie. They do not disappoint. You want to go get these, if you like any kind of loud music. If you like hip-hop, rap, RNB, Rock, even anything works if it has loud beats to it. Definitely go out and check these out they’re a fantastic product. I really can’t do that much more of a review on them. It’s a great product. It’s really a great deal also compared to other in ear noise canceling headphones. I’ve never bought any, because they are always so expensive. My dad has a pair, and I’ve also gone to Best Buy to try them out on my iPod to see which ones I want to buy. I tried out a pair of Sony’s; I tried out a pair of Bose. I tried out the new Apple In-Ears and I did not like those, the feel of them was not comfortable to me. These are the only ones that I’ve actually liked so far, and conveniently, they are such a great price. They’re not expensive. They have a microphone built in. So if you have an iPod Touch 2G and you want to play the apps like Shazam or Fringe and you want to be able to be able to actually use a microphone but you don’t have one built in, go out and get this. If you have an iPhone 3G, and you don’t want to go walking around with like a Bluetooth Headset and what not, go out and get this. It’s a pretty cheap noise canceling headset. Then, they also have an added microphone, built in to it. I didn’t even expect that. I didn’t even think that would be a big of a deal. This has some pretty clear quality. I actually recorded my—oh I don’t have that anymore, dang. I’ll cut away from this, I’ll go do it again, and then I’ll bring it back, but I recorded myself on a Fringe phone call earlier to see what the sound quality was for the speaker or for the microphone I’m sorry. Great quality too, I thought it was going to be a cheap flimsy pair of headset. This is necessary, it’s not cheap, it’s not flimsy, it’s not going to break off. This is more bendable, and flexible, so it’ll hug perfectly to your ear. This speaker microphone thingy, the microphone doesn’t seem like it would actually work, because it’s so tiny, just a little click seems like it like it’s almost going to break. I don’t know how they did it, they made it so small, so lightweight, so compatible with everything it seems like, and it’s still a perfect price, and a perfect headset. So I will now, zoom out of this focus, out of this whatever. Go record a Fringe call with these, and I’ll come back and you guys can hear audio quality of them. So hold on a second. Alrighty guys this is my little test I just recorded using an application called Quick Voice. So hold on a second, we’ll play it for you. Alright, Yeah I recorded about 38,000 different things, because I didn’t know what would be presentable. Half of it was just mumbling, rambling, ABC. I said the ABC’s about four times, but anyway hopefully that will work. Hopefully that gives you guys an idea of how clear and the quality of these headphones and the microphone included into it. I thought this little rinky-dink thing would just be a gimmick basically so you’d go out and buy it. It’s definitely not guys, this all pretty much all you’d really want in a headset speaker phone, setup like that. I mean you have the noise canceling headphones; you have great, great sound quality with tremendous bass included. You have an integrated microphone which I’ve never even thought it would be that big of a deal, but when they give you that great a quality and sound, it’s just you definitely want to go out and get these, especially because of the price tag. Guys if you want to check out, more of these headphones and they go specifically for the iPod Touch 2G and there is also an iPhone 3G model which is what you are looking at right now that has the built it microphone, go out and check it out.
