In conclusion to summarize the main things of this talk, cast again, could have size in it, tacking the young is not new. Socrates was pretty vivid in that quote which I quoted earlier. And he went on to rave at some length about how the young showing no respect than lazy, they love luxury.
Cast to getting the young criticizing them is not new. We have given the syndrome we are labeling it we got a little bit too far. But there are powerful forces that have shape this generation that make them different.
Above all else, they would not put up with things that my generation put up with. They by tolerate. They vote with their feet. They will walk out the door.
Now, we guarantee a smart to stay for a minimum and the universe is change with the new prime time. They will stay for a minimum of 12 months. And some of my friends in the recruitment say how can you guarantee a 19 year old and they even told that. Like you are insane. That guarantee is going to cost you hives. All we will be doing this not in any two years. And we really had to claim on one guarantee, so that make that two, two guarantees.
If you create the jobs that they want, young people will stay with you. But remember the force has been different. And more families, rampaging technology, it is like technology is just a part of who they are. But do not expect them to know how to work an access database. Do not expect them to know how to do the look up in excel but set them a task to learn in a couple of hours. And you will be stunned by how quickly they learn it and are improving on your spreadsheets, database very quickly.
So technology is just a part of who they are. They explore this kind of who they are. Being heard is a part of who they are. If you do not listen to them in the job, you will get nowhere. You have a time, you have to say, it is absolutely true. If they come to you, with a way to improve a process as much to every single day.
If they come to you with an improvement, and you do not listen, get ready to wave them good bye to the young people.
