Reese, Oprah and Leighton's Eyebrow Guru Shares her Secrets
Zelana: A beautiful eyebrow can make an already pretty face look
stunning. Mastering the perfect brow is no easy fix. So when
celebs need a brow boost they turn to world famous brow expert
and celebrity secret weapon Anastasia Soare.
Anastasia Soare: The eyebrow is very important because a well shaped eyebrow will
balance your entire face. Whether you have a full arch like Oprah
Winfrey or high arch like Leighton Meester or petite arch like
Reese Witherspoon, I'm going to show you how to use all the
tools. We start with the stencils. There are five shapes of stencils.
Zelana: So how do you know which stencil works for you face?
Anastasia Soare: Oh, you take a brush with little powder and you put the mark
straight above middle of the inside of the nostrils so here
everybody’s eyebrow should start. Corner of the nose corner of the
eyes right here should be the end of the eyebrow. Tip of the nose
middle of the iris should be the highest arch. Then you take the
stencil one by one, the more eyebrow of your own could fit in the
open area of the stencil that would be your stencil.
So your eyebrow is the high arch just like Leighton Meester. Then
you connect at the beginning and the end and you start filling in
with powder. At home you will tweeze everything outside that
powder area. I'm going to wax, whether you are waxing or
tweezing your eyebrow it used to be symmetrical in balance and
tweeze only what is outside. Then you brush very well and you put
the highlighter here and you use only above the iris, only on the
brow bone and you blend slightly.
Then you put the brow gel, pull your gel that you apply on the
eyebrow and you do not touch your eyebrow until the end of the
day.
