Reiki - Learn About the Chakra System

Speaker: Very often especially in the west here in America we kind of mentally aim the energy in a general direction of the Chakra system which came out of the teachings from India and kind of melded into the Reiki system to just kind of direct us where to put the Reiki.

So there is the base Chakra here in this part of the body, the first Chakra. The second Chakra is in the abdomen, the creative Chakra. The third Chakra is the Solar Plexus. The fourth Chakra is the heart very often you do this to stay in the away from the private part, the fourth Chakra. The fifth Chakra is the neck and very often we will do this position or we will do this position and we try not to go too close to the neck to avoid that feeling of closeness very, very lightly and then the third eye very often we do this with the third eye, this for the third eye.

Why don’t you show the third eye position? This is the third eye. The third eye is the Pineal gland and you want to just send beautiful loving pure energy, Reiki energy to all of these centers in the body and why don’t you show the crown Chakra? That’s the Chakra that is melding the highest supreme part of the person with the highest supreme part of the universal energy, that’s the seventh Chakra. Of course if you study Oriental Medicine you will find there are lots more Chakras all over the body and there is a whole network of energy that we don’t emphasize in Reiki, but our Reiki energy goes all over the body wherever it is needed.
