Hi, this is Mike Callahan, Doctor File Finder and welcome back to part seven of our special Butterscotch.com 10-part series in reinstalling Windows XP. Now we’re to the very last part.
In this segment we’re going to look at finalizing our install. Windows has rebooted and it’s telling us that to improve the appearance Windows will automatically adjust our screen resolution so we click okay. Read the text, click okay. Well, I can read the text. So now Windows is booting.
And now it’s coming up for the first time. Now we’re able to thank you for Microsoft for purchasing Windows XP. As soon as you finished setting it up so we’ll click yes. Now, something you want to be sure to do turn automatic updates and now click next. Windows is checking for your internet connection if you have one already setup. You just might computer will connect to a local area network or home network. I’ll say next. I don’t want to activate my copy of Windows yet but I will click next.
I’m going to put in a user name, docks it should call us no surprise then click next. And now it click finish. This time Windows is coming back up. There’s our theme music and here we are in our fresh, clean Windows desktop. Now, we have a couple of things that we need to do but I’ll get back to those in the remaining segments. So we’ve finalize our Windows install and that concludes part seven.
