Relating to the Pain Body with Eckhart Tolle
I am going to teach children what presents is, not by words but by being present. By giving them place, by surrounding them with space when they come insulting this and that, “you know what happened in school?” You welcome that moment in which this child’s at peace and you embrace this moment and the child’s just at peace and needs to know and this, as I called it sometimes you give him or her space to be. You allow this presence to be and you listen and that sense of spaciousness just listening. Not wanting to change anybody and your pain body are important. As I have several questions here about the pain body.
Pain body as you know is accumulated emotional pain from the past. It is an aspect of yourself. Pain body is an aspect, an important aspect of the egoic sense of self. Pain body is not always active. Pain body has dormant and active periods. When it is dormant, the sense of self, you can live with it is still a trouble maker. It is still problematic, you are still a nuisance to your self and others but why you can live with it. But then periodically that sense of self becomes energized by the accumulated pain from the past that every human comes into this world with. That is inherited genetically passed on because of human madness, there is a vast amount of human pain in the collective energy field and this accumulation of pain part of which is collective, part of which is personal through your present incarnation, accumulated during childhood through parents and emotional pain. And the pain body is a field of contraction, aliveness, energy contracted drugged tight and it has a life of its own, almost although it depends with its existence on you.
