I'm at Halo at New York City which is a spa known for its salt room therapy and I'm told that I don’t even need to put on a robe to try this out. Let’s go see what it’s all about. Sallie Fraenkel: The benefit of coming to a salt room is it’s really very good for your respiratory system. So nowadays there are so many pollutants in our air and environmental concerns and you see kids getting asthma and grownups with sinus infection and bronchitis. And breathing in the salt air can really help with all those conditions. Ron Rofe: I started it because my mom was sick with a bad lung disease a few years ago. Thank God today she’s okay. We were traveling in New York, we went on a family vacation and we used one of these salt rooms and remarkably it really helped her breathing. Sallie Fraenkel: What is a trend here in the United States is actually a very old established kind of treatment in a lot of European countries.
