They undergird and reinforce our spirituality. Rituals are things that we do repetitively. Even non-ritualistic spiritual traditions have rituals, they might gather once a week for worship or every time they gather for worship, there might be a sermon. Those gathering, those sermons are rituals. Rituals are the pillars that uphold our spirituality, our faith. They keep us in contact, in touch with the presence of God around us
