Now, nicotine stains are gross and next to impossible to remove. But, I've got a few quick tips to help you remove a lot of those stains.
Now, nicotine not only can stain your teeth, it can stain your home as well. An easy way to get some of those stains off your walls is to just make a mixture of hot water, add a small amount of tri-sodium-phosphate, and just scrub the area in a circular motion. And you can find this in your pharmacy aisle anywhere.
You can also try using just straight ammonia. But you want to make sure you do this at a time when you can open all the windows, and all the doors. Keep it really well ventilated, and make sure you're using something to scrub with that keeps your hands away. Use gloves, use goggles, and that should work.
Now, if you would rather not use straight ammonia, you can also just use equal parts ammonia, vinegar and then a few squirts of liquid dish detergent. Just put this all in a bucket, mix it up and sponge it onto the area with a mop or a scrubber, and make sure that you are still using your rubber gloves, goggles and keeping it well ventilated with the windows up.
The nicotine stains on your clothes, you're gonna wanna soak them in a basin of water with a denture tablet inside overnight. This is only gonna work for your whites, for your other colors just soak them in water with dry powdered laundry detergent overnight, and this should work just fine. And afterwards, make sure you wash it again normally in the washing machine, but do not dry it. Hang it up to dry. Because, if you dry it you could set the stain and make it ten times harder to get out.
You have nicotine stains on your fingers? Well, all you have to do is scrub a little lemon juice and salt on the surface area where the stain is. And make sure that there is absolutely no open wound, and don't rub it too raw because this will hurt.
