Wes: My name is Wes from Marion, Ohio. I worked out before when I was 18 and I took Creatine to help me bulk up. Now, that I am in my late 20s, I want to get back into working out and I was just wondering if you have any suggestions about what kind of dietary supplements I should take that help me bulk up and why? Dr. Edward Laskowski: That's a great question Wes. We get many questions about dietary supplements and the truth is there really isn't any magic bullet out there. People talk about Creatine and some studies have shown some short duration improvement in muscle power, maybe some muscle bulking ability of Creatine but it also has side effects including dehydration and muscle cramping. There is really no good substitute for a proper diet as far as strength building is concerned.
