Well, we are leaving the station of the San Diego Zoo Rail Road. So I thought you might like to see where this train takes us. The train station is adjacent to the zoo entrance, and as you can see there are some animals like the giraffe to ride with. Their ride is $2 per person. Kids under one are free, and I will give you a view of what you will see. Our kids who are sitting, there's my family right there, they love this.
Later, we'll be going through that tunnel which is the highlight of the trip. So here kids love trains. They will enjoy this ride at Balboa Park. Here to the left, that's the parking lot of the zoo. And then you will also see the carousel here to the left, which is also a lot of fun. So for your young ones to do something with the zoo, the carousel and the train are really good options and memorable. And here's another, this is a new addition. Another little ride, see how friendly everyone is, they want you to ride the rides.
This train is adjacent to the Spanish Art Village. So if you like pottery, paintings, glass work, metal work; that would be a fun stop. They've a lot of kids classes, if you are here for an extended period of time, and you are able to do that. 25 miles an hour. I don't think we are really risking breaking that. And here we go around the corner, and as you can tell from this video it's a pretty long train ride. This is one of the most scenic parts and nice and shady, fun.
Balboa Park is not only home to the San Diego Zoo and to this Art Center that I was talking about, and the train, and the carousel, but also many, many museums like the Modern Railroad Museum. The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, lots of things your kids will enjoy. A lot of art museums if you like that, but I know that's not really usually high on the list for kids. So hopefully if your child is a train lover, they are enjoying this video. We are getting to the end of the ride, where we go through the tunnel which is the favorite. Tunnel, Ethan.
So as you can see this is not a bad way to spend $2. It was a long ride, it's a lot of fun. It's close to the zoo, and a memorable train ride your kids will enjoy. Back to the ticket station. Ethan, did you have a good time, was it fun?
