Right Bundle Branch Block in Children

Blaufox: Right bundle branch block is a particular pattern on the EKG which indicates that it takes longer for the electrical impulse to get to the right pumping chamber in the heart or the right ventricle. You can think of the electrical cells which transit electricity from the top chamber down to the bottom chamber as a branching tree and some of the branches go to the left side of the heart and some go to the right side of the heart and the branches that go to the right side of the heart are diseased and so the electricity has to bypass those branches and get there in a slower fashion.
