If you are using Nautilus as the file manager, they do have some packages that make your life quite easier. So head to your package manager, right and in here they have Nautilus wallpaper and basically you have a picture or something. Like we say, one these pictures and all you have to do is right click on it and you should have an option of setting your wallpaper as the background right over here.
So that is like Windows were you have options of setting your picture as the wallpaper. The next one is sharing and basically if you have samba or some kind of a network setup that you want to share. Let’s say you want to share this folder, all you have to do is right click on it and share options here and you can share this folder and you know. I don’t have any installer but if you have an installer, you can share the folder just by a right click in your Nautilus. So that is pretty convenient.
Now the next one is a send to and basically, that is how it sounds like. Let us say you want to send this folder, right click on it and send to and you have some options if you wanted to compress the file and you can send it to Bluetooth, USB drive, CD, Pentium, email. So that is pretty convenient also. This one is an open terminal, so let’s say we are in the picture folder here and if we open this as a terminal so right click on this and then open the terminal.
Automatically it is going to load up on our folder as a path that we are asked. So we are at the picture, right? So that is the same as this. So we are in the pictures folder right now that is pretty convenient for the terminal. The next one is the image converter. I talked about this last time but basically if you want to know more in depth about it or whatever. Go watch that video but all it really does is I guess you have to right click the name on it. Let’s say you want to resize the image or rotate the image if in case they are not aligned the way that you like it and they have some options in there if you want to know check it out or watch the other video that I made and you should know what to do.
This one is a Nautilus G-case suit and basically that is the incremental GKA sudo Nautilus and that is going to give you your assistant folder here right and other maybe going to the Bluetooth folder. Now right here they don’t give you options to edit anything. They will not allow you to create a folder or document anything about that, no paste or anything but if you backup and you right click on the folder.
Now you put the open as administrator. There is going to be hack you for the password, so now you have the “admit level file browser” here and this time you can make a folder or whatever the hell you want to do here. Like I said before in the past, if you mess up in here you might end up fuck up. So other than that be careful when you're using that as an admit.
So that’s what it does and the Nautilus action which I talked about before also. Basically it allows you to quick task this if you want to go like more indefinite, just watch that other video that I made on it. But basically, it is still a right click command and it is one of those Nautilus right click command and it would allow you to do like convert image or convert MP3s or whatever the hell it is that you want to do.
So those are some of the things that I use as a convenience and if you are on Nautilus I will recommend getting some of those and it just helps you better when you’re doing shits.
