Right-Hand Defense vs. Left-Hand Dodger

Now we are going to talk about a right-handed defense men playing a left-handed dodger from behind that changes things a little bit because it is a little different way. We are going to hold and push the guy out. Now instead of using our forearm when the man is comes around now we have to use our fist. Now, our defense is trying to get, try the fist under our attackers’ armpit at the same time he is still going to throw his hip around and point his foot towards the corner and close the gate and drive the attack in backwards.

Here is an example of how it should work. Tack is coming at the goal pipe, he steps up, and he is gong to push him back with his hand. Let us try it again. Here we go he is going to the goal, goalie yells “pipe” is going to drive him back with his foot towards the sideline keeping his stick up field at all times.
