Rockabilly Bob
[Demo]
I am starting on the G note put the 12th fret on the G string and do hammer on to a note that has step above which is in G# like this.
[Demo]
Then I play B note on the B string on the 12th fret and then C# and then I do a double stop like this which is the 12th fret on the B and E string because I play it like this. The first part then is like this.
[Demo]
And hear this low.
[Demo]
The last part of this lick is this.
[Demo]
So, I am doing a double stop here on the G string and the B string on the 14th fret.
[Demo]
And then down to the 12th fret and here I hammer on this G# note again, the major third while this note is still ringing.
[Demo]
So, you get that use to feel, hammer on and pull off. This good little technique practice if you have not done this before. You hammer on and then you pull off.
Now, if you then bar these two notes together so that the B note rings only do that hammer and then pull off.
[Demo]
It sounds cool and bluesy and jazzy that is the whole lick.
[Demo]
Hear this that is lower down for the whole thing.
[Demo]
It is hard to do it is low for me one more time.
