Rock Lick in Am Pentatonic

All right, hi everybody! I am Matt Brown. And I’ve got an A-minor pentatonic rock link. This is a pretty stock rock link. You’ve probably heard. This was something similar and quite a few different solos.

So basically what we’re going to do is we’re going to be playing out of this pentatonic rock pattern, but we’re going to use some alternate fingering.

So, we’re going to slide into the ninth fret here at the second finger and then bend this D-note up of full step. And then, we’re going to re-pick the note while it’s still bend, release it, then pick this note C at the eight fret and then end with pentatonic A note here at the 10th fret. [Demonstration]

So that’s all there is to it. That’s that that lick. That’s an A-minor pentatonically. Feel free to use that on your own solos.
