To make the Rosette Pendant Necklace, you'll need two crimp beads, two crimp bead covers, one lobster clasp, 14 jump rings, these are 4 millimeters in diameter. Two strands of chain that are three inches long each, 14 inches of nylon, this is one 1 millimeter in diameter.
You'll need two types of bead, one that acts as a spacer bead, and one that's your main bead. The style of beads that I have picked is so happens that I need 32 of each. You'll also need a pendant; here is our rosette. The tools you'll need are a flat nose plier, the chain nose pliers, and if you're cutting your chain from a spool, you'll need the clippers.
To begin, I've taken my 14 inch piece of nylon cord; and marked it at two inches, and eight inches. I am going to take my crimp bead cover, and bead it through the bottom on to the cord. You want that open clamshells facing the end of the cord. Alright.
Now I am going to take my crimp bead and feed that onto the very end of my nylon cording. Now I am going to smash the crimp bead at the very end of the cord, make sure it's tight, so that it doesn't slip. Now we'll bring the crimp bead cover all the way up to the crimp bead to cover it. Go ahead, and smash the little clamshells closed. You want to misshapen; misshapen it, just enough to close it.
Now we'll leave this open to put a jump ring on. Now that our jump ring is on, we're going to close the crimp bead cover loop, just enough to close it again. You don't want to smash that one flat. Now we have a jump ring on the end of our crimp bead cover. Let's open the jump ring with our pliers, get the cord out of the way here. Okay now we're going to feed on one of our three inch strands of chain.
Okay, we'll get that back on, the crimp bead cover, let's close that up, perfect. Now we're going to open another jump ring, and feed through the lobster claw clasp, perfect. Now we're going to put the chain on that jump ring as well. Go ahead and close that up. Now we have this first section of our necklace. Now we're going to feed on our beads in this order of black, green, black. Just go and thread them through the other end of the nylon cord.
Now that we're approaching our eight inch marker, you want to be sure to leave your largest bead last. Now we're going to add the pendant to the nylon cording, just slide it on through. Now that it's next to the largest -- the larger beads, you can see that it's not going to get lost underneath the pendant loop. Now we'll continue to feed in the black, green, black order.
Now that I've reached my two inch marker on my nylon cord; I am going to feed on my second crimp bead cover from the bottom, here we go. Slide it all the way down to the left bead. Now I am going to put on my crimp bead, little small bead right on there. I am going to squash my crimp bead right at the two inch marker, there we go. Smash it, so that it won't slide. Make sure you get it on there just right. We're going to clip off the excess nylon wire right next to the crimp bead, here we go. We'll close the clamshells on the crimp bead cover.
Alright, go ahead and close the loop on the end of the crimp bead, so a little bit more. I have an open jump ring here. Now I am going to feed on to the crimp bead cover, oops, oops, it's slippery. Alright! Now I am going to take my second strand of chain and feed that on to the same open jump ring. Here we go. Now I am going to close this jump ring with my pliers, perfect. Now I have my second strand connected.
Now I have taken 10 jump rings, and then put them together. This will allow the necklace to be sizable. I have one more open jump ring, take it with my pliers. I am going to put it on the other end of the three inch strand, feed it through and take my 10 connected jump rings, feed that through as well. I am going to close it up, and we have a completed Rosette Pendant Necklace.
