Ryan Howard Teaches How to Set Up in the Batter’s Box

Hey Ryan what’s your routine in the batters box? Weplay Adidas presents How I Do It with Ryan Howard #6 Well I have a routine that I do whenever I get in the back of the batters box just to let me know I’m in the same place every single time. When I first step in, I kind of split on the gloves to feel a little moisture in there and get some grip, I like to step in and basically I draw a line from the middle of the plate back. So that it can help separate my body because I like to try to keep my head on the pole to keep my body nice and even and then I give two taps one Tee outside the plate and Tee inside of the plate so I make sure I can cover both inside and outside and then I kind of get into a squat and hold the bat out to give me lined and then just bring it back and lock it in. I think that everybody should have a little routine or a some type of way to mark their foot so they can get in the same place every time.
