Boogie/ Rock ‘n Roll Rhythm style in the key of B
So, okay. So, while I am playing this I am playing the first finger on the seventh fret the lower string. This is the note B then my third finger is playing the ninth fret on the A string this is in fact the note F#.
So, together these two sound like this without adding on my fourth finger also an A string on the 11th fret, also the first two parts.
[Demo]
Then now, I am adding the third note actually three notes together. This is a note I am adding.
[Demo]
That is the note A, I am playing that on the D string on seventh fret by this. By using this index finger I am barring over all three strings.
[Demo]
Like that but I am keeping this third finger here and now I am focusing I am trying to get that note to sound as the most prevalent note.
[Demo]
See like that the ring like that three notes together.
[Demo]
And then I will go back to only two notes that is,
[Demo]
And now, I am switching to E the same idea on the switching strings. Now, I am going to start an E string and the other fingers move accordingly.
[Demo]
Back,
[Demo]
And then I move up to F# same as do you thinly as moved up. Two more frets and play.
[Demo]
And back.
[Demo]
But you have to use an up and down motion like this.
[Demo]
So I can allow, play that a little bit slower. So this used fingers. they know what they are doing on the fret there. In the right hand is going,
[Demo]
As up and down.
[Demo]
Okay. The trickiest part is muting the strings that you not playing. Well, that you do not want to ring like do not hold this bottom strings to ring because you barring here. So, you kind a have to bar like this and then bend up this index finger a little bit lift that little up from the fret board, so your mute string will,
[Demo]
It sounds like that.
[Demo]
You know it is a little tricky to explain but your goal is to only push down enough for three strings to ring. So, if you hit sometimes it means that, that notes sounds even here.
[Demo]
It is not a big deal really it sounds cool anyway.
[Demo]
You know all right you groove.
[Demo]
That only done here,
[Demo]
It does not matter.
It also sound good to hear away as long as you at some point emphasize that note and the style.
