I am Steve Turano, welcome to this episode of Body Performance. Let us talk about sabotaging your weight loss gain plan. Now I am not talking about going from 107 to 106. I am talking about if you got the decent amount of weight to loose you are trying to achieve a goal. I usually check with my clients and I usually I ask them how is your eating been and I sort to check up on what they are doing. And a lot of people say, “You know, I cannot see to keep my hands off the cookies or I cannot stop eating these candies or whatever it is.” And I say to myself, “Why are you buying them if you know you cannot stop eating them. Why are you bringing them into the house.” If you know you cannot stop eating them.
They are secretly sabotaging their weight loss gain plan because you know in hearts of hearts they really do now want to loose those extra five, ten or 15 to 20 pounds. And you know something that is okay. But when you really want to get down and you really want to loose the weight and you know you do not have the self control to not eat something that it is in the house. You should not but it, you should not bring it in the house because that is going to sabotage your ability. Why make it more difficult? Once you are down to the weight you want to be at, maybe you can cheat once in a while that is fine.
But if you know you cannot keep your hands out of the M&M’s or the Twinkies, the HoHoos’ and the Dingdong’s you should not have it in the house. And then if you eat it you should ride about it later. Love your body. I will see you next time.
