Hi! This is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome back to our special butterscotch.com 10-part series on Safari.
In this last segment of our 10-part series, we’re going to look at zooming. Safari has an excellent zoom function. And you can go here to view and zoom in, zoom out but you can also add zoom buttons right to the browser. To do that, just click here, say customize tool bar and then you can drag the zoom icon up to your toolbar as I've done here. Click Done and now when you're on a webpage, if you need the text to be larger, just click plus, plus, minus, minus.
Now, another cool feature is that you can click view and you could say view with the zoom of text only. So now, when you do this, watch the graphics, the text gets bigger but the graphics stay the same size. So, this is great because it allows you to read text that might be difficult to read but it doesn’t overwhelm the page with overly large graphics. So, this is an excellent function that you can use when you're working on pages that might have very small text. Safari has excellent zoom functions and now you can go back down. And the other features you can do is when you’ve been filling with zoom in and out. Sometimes harder and remember what size it was. You can click actual size and that will go back to the way the page was when we found it.
So, these are the zoom features in Safari. This concludes our 10-part series but stay tuned for a bonus segment on our favorite features in Safari.
