Hi! This is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome back to our special butterscotch.com 10 part series on Safari.
In this segment, we’re going to look briefly at the top sites feature that’s new in Safari 4.0. And what it does is that as you browse, Safari learns what sites you visit most often and it puts them on this top sites page. You can access it from here, this little button icon. And you see here these images have a star and the page is turned back and that indicates that there's new content there since the last time Safari was opened. What you can do if you want is you can click down here and say edit. And if you want say I don’t want to lose the butterscotch icon, I can push the push pin, I can push the push pin on the Apple site. I can also move this around. So, if I want to move butterscotch up here, I can put it like that. So now, those two are going to stay because I've pinned them, I've moved this around.
I can have them be small medium or large. See with small, you have a greater number with large, you have fewer. Totally up to you. And when you have it the way you want, just click done and your top sites page is refreshed and here again these stars indicate that there is new content. So, another great innovation in Safari, makes it easy to quickly go to your top sites. Keep in mind this is a multiple part series and be sure to watch all 10 parts.
