Samsung 245BW TFT LCD - Product Review
Many of you guys or girls depending on who watches, anyways, many of you people have noticed that I've had my two 24-inch monitor for a while and my newest edition 17-inch Sync Master 170N. But what I want to do is talk to you guys about and do a review on my two 24-inch Sync Master’s here.
These are two 24-inch Sync Master 245 BW monitors manufacture by Samsung and I happen to love them very much. I've had them for almost a year now. I bought one around April of last year and then about a month later I bought another exact same one and I happen to like them a lot.
They're awesome monitors, they're native resolution is 1920x1200 wide screen, 16x9 it’s got a D sub which is analog VGA hook up and it’s got DVI which I'm using right now and I use it kind a like a KVM on this one monitor. I switch back and forth between my stream PC and my main PC and its great because that’s VGA my main PC is DVI.
Its dynamic contrast is 3000 to one, well, its static contrast is a thousand to one, so it’s nice and I have to say nice and bright really great it’s got a five millisecond response on which is pretty good too. And I have to say, I'm really impressed with Samsung monitors. Their consumption for monitors to 100 watts each which is not too bad compared to other LCD’s and stuff.
Samsung does a great job out what they make and I totally recommend them. So, if you're thinking of getting an LCD or maybe a new one or even wanting to get at these were my first LCD’s-- Well no, I had the Dell LCD but these are my first big LCD’s and I was very impress and I decided that I was going to get another LCD. And with that, I bought the 17-inch here; it’s Samsung as well and excellent quality brand. And they do have a lot of great stuff and I totally recommend them.
So if you want or want to buy one or consider buying an LCD or another one, new one even a refurbish one, the Samsung refurbished LCD’s are valued there. They're really, really great.
So yeah, the native resolution is 1920x1200. The contrast ratio is a thousand to one, and for static contrast and dynamic contrast is 3001 in the five millisecond response time. D-sub, analog input as well as DVI input and that is a Samsung Master or the Samsung Sync Master 245 EW.
Great for doing all kinds of work with lots of space to move things around and at that resolution 1920x1200 that is a lot of pixels and you know for watching movies and stuff it’s awesome. I totally recommend it.
Grab one while you can. The price has actually each brought and their only going to go down more, so yeah I totally recommend Samsung we’ll chat you later.
