Samsung 245T LCD Monitor Unboxing
Jason: I got it from the day and I’ve been really wanting a brand new monitor and I just want to get a larger monitor and this is the best one I could find in it, not necessarily the best value but the point of best quality in one I could find and for 24-inch monitor and to me about two weeks to find a perfect one but I think this is definitely the perfect one because I can use it for my Xbox and that kind of thing.
I hook up additional sources besides my Mac book Pro or my PC so, I’m going to go ahead and open it up. I got this from the new egg and probably not the best value like I said, pretty expensive for what it is but I think I’ll be pretty happy with that. I was pretty concerned about getting a lower quality monitor and I think I want to be disappointed with it. Okay first thing I have a box. This is pretty big box by the way which I guess because it’s a 24-inch monitor. I’ve never seen quite as big as the box as this. This looks like my VA computer box or something.
This is the power cable, the software CD and I’m sure I’ve seen random other quick setup guide that kind of thing. I got something some phone, sorry guys it is not designed by Apple in California none of that. USB cable, this Pica monitor, it just have the USB hub and it’s four-port hub and this is actually the upload cable to the computer.
DVI cable and the set of it and it took a monitor that has a ton of different connections, one of them happens to be DVI and I’m going to include one of this so that actually don’t have a DVI cable so. VGA cable I won’t be using. Yeah, probably I won’t be using it that much but I could have the server but definitely it will be an extension cable for me and that’s pretty cool.
And it looks like last but not the least is the actual monitor itself. Now forgive me if drop it because I’m kind of weak. Somebody is popping. It might be my actual connection here. Forgive me for being into this because I’ve never done it before so. That’s pretty amazing right there. Probably about the size I expect. The 24-inch monitor is of course is measured diagonally like every other monitor and it is a matte display not a glossy display. I hate glossy display but the enclosure is glossy.
Male: Yeah I’m a Mac fan too.
Jason: Glossy does offer some advantages when you’re watching movies but it is not accurate colors political kind of thing like that. It is actually a Sync master 245T and it’s certified to one of the Vista even know what we’re using it with that. it’s got energy, star rating and all that crap. This is one cool thing about it.
Male: Is there any monitor for Vista?
Jason: Well, it’s certified. It’s got appropriate Windows drivers for the Windows Vista monitors but one cool thing about this I love is this 306 degrees swivel so you can just swivel around, very little so that’s pretty cool. Well, that’s going to be really useful to me.
Male: It doesn’t look like you may it using much for side there.
Jason: Very little force and —
Male: It’s so important for an LCD?
Jason: For large LCD’s especially.
Male: So I don’t have a better quality video here. My inbox and we’ll call it to be some kind of DV camera. So I’m going to see if I can tilt it up. That’s about the source tilts up and then it tilts down. That’s as far as it tilts down and pull up this pin and it allows me to rate it up with very little force and we’ll raise it down, very little force and of course I can tilt it backup and proper viewing angle and I will lower it back down and pin back in because I don’t want to break anything. We began to flip this over to show you the ports and this is a good idea or not.
All we can’t see the ports because it’s so dark in here. Let me look this thing up. The camera is just going to move. Actually it’s going to switch over to my eyesight so it’s all done. Very heavy monitor actually, here’s the ports that has it and several ports to use the upload and took a power port, audio port out because as ACMI which curious audios and actually put that audio on to the speaker and hook the speaker into that.
And next is the S-video cable port or the S-video port, bring your composite video, looks like VGA, DVI and HP.
Male: So it’s like a TV but without a tuner.
Jason: It’s like a TV but definitely a computer monitor. It does have the extra connections and as added bonus I'm not really sure how this side is done. It looks like its’ on the other side, component cables or net cables but connection and a 4-port USB hub. So, pretty nice that’s it. That point worth of price to me and prominent to most people but we’ll see how it goes. Now, I’m going to do the camera from.
Male: It sure left out.
Jason: I was deciding not to get it and then I decided last minute taxi, go ahead go through the purchase and I’ll go ahead and switch at the other camera. Probably I can set this thing quite yet mainly because I don’t have any room for now.
Male: They don’t come to us.
Jason: But I will be on the stream saying it out but I’ll tell you I’ll give you a review on it later and tell you what I think about it. I’m pretty sure I like it but the space on the reviews such thing a new wagon in other places. It looks like a great monitor and like I said I’ll give you a review later on that and thank you guys from YouTube and stay tuned for other YouTube activities from us. We’re all proud to be having a YouTube video about a DV camera unboxing or something like that and also the review of the Samsung 235T.
