The Samsung Galaxy Note will be available in-store at AT&T February 19th. The device will be selling for $300 with a two-year contract. And it’s not just any smartphone. According to USA Today...
“...it is much larger than the standard smartphone ... [and] feels like a mini-tablet.”
How much larger? The note’s screen is 5 inches. Placing right in the middle of smartphones and tablets. The phone, as ComputerWorld describes , is
“...designed to replace multiple devices that users often carry...”

The Examiner reports that the Galaxy Note also has...
“...a highly advanced tool called the S Pen, which delivers fast, responsive and precise control to create fine lines and detail... much like an ink pen and pad of paper …”
Samsung shows how the S Pen works.
The S Pen is a built-in stylus. Korea Times reports that while late former Apple CEO Steve Jobs opposed styluses,...
“...the android drew huge attention for the built-in stylus … [and] industry analysts point out that the stylus pen contribute most to its success”
But the Note has its drawbacks. Techland reports ,
“You can fit it in your pocket - although you’ll feel it with every step - and make phone calls on it, but using it with one hand is out of the question”
Pre-orders are also available at AT&T’s online store from February 5th, with deliveries on the 17th. The smartphone will be available in carbon blue and ceramic white.
