Male 1: This is the Samsung Instinct. It is a full touch screen phone. We’ve done some things a little differently from other touch screen phones that you might have seen. For the place we have three permanent buttons along on the bottom, the home key which takes you at the home screen, the back key, and the phone key. Well of course, it’s a phone so you want to be able to access the phone very quickly.
What we know about other applications is it, once you get deep into an application, sometimes you want to go home, sometimes you just want to go back one. Well this gives yu the option to do either. Now, this is the main screen, but that’s not the screen that’s going to greet you most often when you turn on the phone or pick it up. What you’ll see most often is this favorite screen and that’s because we know that people do four or five things with the phone on a regular basis but we also know that your four or five are going to be different from mine and so, this s a fully customizable screen.
Male 2: Can it show how you can move the favorites back and forth?

Male 2: And how you can reorder those as well?
Male 1: Let’s see. Let’s take it and just move it up for you want it, and then if you want to take it on up a little further, bring it so when you see the navigation,

Male 1: And it has haptic response. It gives you a little buzz that lets you know that you press the button that you want to press. Now, it operates on Sprint’s high-speed network, which makes it excellent for surfing the web and you see it automatically defaults to the landscape mode. Let’s take ourselves on out.

Male 1: That is a full HTML browser and when you hold the picture button, you have to opportunity then to pan and tilt

Male 2: Of course, you have the zoom option where you can go like the one I’ve seen exactly?
Male 1: So it comes with a two mega pixel camera that comes with a standard earphone jack so you can use your favorite headset. It also of course has Bluetooth capability. It has another feature here. This is the voice to action. Go to search. Here we go now it’s in search mode.
In local search mode, it has the GPS; it knows where you are so we can ask for the name of the business. Let’s try Gita. What this will do in a minute is it will bring us up on all the places we’ve got pizza in the area and then there’ll be a little car icon that you can press on that will take you seamlessly to the TeleNav navigation application that will give you the turn by turn directions to the location that you want.
Male 2: Okay.
Male 1: So this is using the navigation application. It will even give you live local traffic.
Male 2: Let’s say we want to go at like a New York, New York Casino?
Male 1: New York, New York? Okay.
Let’s try bars and clubs in the area. And it get in Vegas we’ve got a lot. Look at all of those. Okay and many, many more results to come but let’s try hang and loose.
Then of course, when we start moving then it would start moving as well.
Male 2: Okay.
Male 1: Okay? And it has given us the verbal here. Now let me see if we’ve got somebody, here we go and there’s messaging. And we want to send something to Amy and we’re going to reply, and that brings up our keyboard.
Male 2: Uhum.
Male 1: Again, It defaults to the landscape mode and we can type and then of course it is giving us the full haptic feedback.
These are better to access. All right, there we go back with the keyboard and it has predictive text and corrective text. That will also take you into the portrait mode.
Male 2: Can you make it to default through the portrait mode or it is always been a default to the landscape?
Male 1: It’s going to default to the landscape.
Male 2 Okay.
Male 1: Uhum.
Male 2 And it’s a lot easier.
Male 1: And that’s what most people prefer.
Male 2: And the device could be released sometime in summer?
Male 1: It will be in the summer.
Male 2: Okay.
Male 1: Yes. We will be releasing that on the summer and that will be exclusive to Sprint.
