Hello and welcome to the CellPhones84.com review of the Samsung SCH-i760. This is a Windows 6 mobile device. Obviously, we got a unique keypad here in the front to make phone calls with the toggle switch there and the soft keys which correspond here which you can hit with your finger if you like. But, it is easier on the pad there going around the phone. We got the call button there, the volume switch, micro SD slot there, and we got the power switch there to turn it on and off and they have set jock. This is a voice command button which is interesting which I will show you later. That is the okay button and the delicate camera button. And we also have this here, it is actually the styles. Hid no way and kind of odd place works very well. That is what the hardware looks like. On the back, we got a 1.3 mega pixel camera with flash and the battery. This one happens to be the extended battery. It actually comes with two batteries which is nice, this is the extended one which makes this a bit wider. The regular standard battery is more of flash with the top of the phone here. Those are the options in regards to battery.
Now, a couple of new things about this phone, as you can see here, it has a Wi-Fi. It is using NetGear instead of the Verizon connection. It is going to be pretty fast even without the Wi-Fi but it is nice to know that you can use that if you like. It does have Bluetooth of course which is the little symbol right there is on. Now, I am going to show you the voice prompt button that I showed you over here on the side. What I am going to do when I press and hold it is we are going to see an icon show up here on the microphone. It notifies that it is ready to take our prompt so I am going to hold it down – what time is it? The time is 2:39 pm. Try it again, start Internet Explorer. And there is the Internet Explorer. We can go to our counters, I will try it again. Start counter. So very quickly, it takes your prompt and goes right to where you want to go. It is a very interesting and a nice feature of this phone. As with all windows mobile six professional devices like this, it is really great for business E-mail, corporate E-mail and personal E-mail. You can all merge them together.
That concludes our quick review of the Samsung SCH-i760 for Verizon wireless. We will just do a couple of comparisons real quick so you can see the size compared to some other popular phones. It is roughly almost exactly the same size as the palm trio and we will compare it also to the LG there which of course is going to be a thinner device but this is more of a media device and this is much more of a business and E-mail type of device.
