This is a short video of the design of the Samsung T509. One thing that strikes most people of course is the fact that it is a very simple phone as you can see it’s actually better than this never I— a couple of millimeters and that makes it the thinnest phone in the . That is a little bit longer than this one though and quite a bit long for most people but its okay. But they feel that it compensates with it. Something new that’s for Samsung is the addition of the central key which is in the right like the okay key it’s not the mobile internet key that used to be in other models. Alright let’s turn it on right here just like all the other phones the red button is also the power button and that turns the phone on.
This is doing this right here on the side you can check on the volume keys which is good for adjusting the volume on the ring or while you are on a call. On the other side you get to have the charging port and the hands free port which is unfortunately it is one for both charging and hands free so can’t be charging using in the hands free at the same time but that’s why you have Bluetooth and you have a camera key which activates the camera of course.
Okay we have the, alright now on and as you can see the screen is very nice and it is definitely bright enough for to be seen in broad daylight. Its high resolution screen with a lot of colors very vivid and beautiful it’s animated. These are also nice they’re not cutt into the metal like this lever keys. well they are actual buttons that you can press.
And the okay key configures and the whole screen does not do anything but once you go into the menu it starts doing its magic. You don’t have anything on the bottom or on the top bar with the phone except for a strap hook which you’ll find very useful. Well, that’s about it and on the back you will see the little camera and a self portrait mirror and also one last addition to this phone is the speaker phone which is actually on the back not on the front like it used to be on older Samsung’s. So over here when you use the speaker phone you’ll actually hear the sound coming out of here. Have the battery compartment on the back. And that’s it. It’s a pretty nice phone it’s a very nice addition for T-Mobiles line up. Hopefully many people will like it and definitely worth its price.
We’ll going to show the way the Samsung’s menu work with the navigational keypad by just pressing down. You can go to the address book and then easy to dial in and out of there just pressing the dial key. Actually by pressing to the right, you go to the voice records. By pressing to the left you go into the text messaging and by pressing up you’re actually going to the camera function. By pressing the left soft key, were going to the main menu of the phone which is pretty graphic design on there. And if were going to the
settings right here you can access pretty much all the phone settings, the display settings, even blue tooth right there which is a nice addition. All the good about this phone is blue tooth is fully enabled does not equip with your bar. Transfer the data, you can use for dial up networking. And you can use them for, and of course your keys and all that.
For the phonebook you can also add different pictures on there if you want to. Actually you can add pictures from your integrated camera right there. There we go. Then we scroll further down will be able to, access your gallery. Right here where you can custom mail your pictures. You press on the okay key and you can see a full screen. and we’ll go into options from there you can set as a caller ID. There we go. We can just exit with the right key of course just like on old Samsung phones. You can access this older course we don’t have that. We have the section right here. We’ll show you how that works.
From the sides you can actually also manipulate the volume, an internet bell or not, and your desires and one last thing is you can lock the keys by just pressing this key. And the keypad is locked so you won’t accidentally dial.
That’s pretty much it for the Samsung T509. it’s a great addition to T-Mobiles network and there’s something else that nice. you can actually view at the time by just pressing the side volume keys. And that’s about it.
