Kevin Flynn: Hey everybody, I am Kevin Flynn and welcome to Travel Bites, San Diego, America’s finest city. Now it’s the second largest city in California and just the stones throughout from Mexico. Now in this episode of Travel Bites, we have checked out three great places for you to get something to eat. So first up while we are waiting for the morning fog to burn off, we are going to grab ourselves some breakfast. We come to an institution in San Diego and the breakfast in San Diego, Hash House a Go Go.
Hash House a Go Go, is one of the San Diego’s most famous breakfast house, why you ask? Well two words, huge portions. So I figure out to test the chef, I mean come on how big these portions really be, huge is an understatement. Hash House a Go Go has been serving up these enormous portions for years now. It's no wonder that the locals keep coming back for more and if you don’t want to chew down too heavily, you can always just pop in for one of their famous smores, creamy.
To say I have had my breakfast would be an understatement but now let’s head for the ocean and the fish market, it's time for a little lunch, but I will walk there, walk off that breakfast. If ever there was a perfect location for a seafood restaurant its here at the fish market, it's minutes from downtown San Diego, completely surrounded by water, thus ensuring that you get fresh fish. Is the fish fresh, yes it is it must be, at the fish market.
Diana: You know we just have so many fabulous things why don’t I start you with a volo charter and then just going off with marine spices?
Kevin Flynn: Well it sounds good. the fish market is a seafood lover’s delight, snapper, tuna, lobster, shrimp, you name it, there is something on this menu for everyone in the family.
Diana: This is by far the most popular, it's got a little bit of everything, crabs, scallops, prawns, mussels, white fish, calamari. It's a marino wine sauce, also _?
Kevin Flynn: Any radishes?
Diana: No radishes.
Kevin Flynn: Then it doesn’t have everything Diana.
Diana: Just all the seafood you could ever want in here.
Kevin Flynn: Now bring all the dancing girls.
Diana: Alright enjoy.
Kevin Flynn: Thank you. The Top of the Market is located right on the water and offers some of the prettiest views of the bay, not to mention it's within walking distance of some great tourist attractions.
Diana: Can I get you anything else? You are throwing the towels.
Kevin Flynn: I am done, Kevin Flynn for Travel Bites from the Fish Market saying no mass. Big breakfast, big fish, now big margaritas. Welcome to the Old Town Mexican Cafe. I am in heart of old town, get ready to going to the Old Town Mexican Cafe and Cantina. It's known for its family, friendly atmosphere, its great food and its great drinks come on. What better way to get the fiesta go and to settle in for some authentic home cooking just like they used to make. Guacamole chips, prior to margarita coming. The Old Town Mexican Café offers plenty of meal choices with everything from Tacos and Enchiladas to some teen replace like nachos and chicken finger for the kids. No matter what you will order you are bound to find something that will hit the spot and don’t forget to bring this same voice.
Well what a day we had in San Diego, let’s do a little review, we started out with breakfast at Hash House a Go Go, we had a little lunch at Fish Market and then we finished off with the Old Town Mexican Café which completely stuffed us. Let me see my stomach is full, the sun is going down, it's time for a little fiesta. So join us next time on Travel Bite, we check out three great places to play. Next time, I will see you later. I am Kevin Flynn.
