The National Constitution Center is 160,000 square foot museum. It is an independent non-partisan and non-profit organization dedicated to increasing public understanding of an appreciation for the constitution, its history and its contemporary relevance. It is the first ever national museum honoring and explaining the US Constitution. It has become one of the region’s most popular attractions.
With over 9,200 acres, Fairmont Park has been called one of the largest urban parks in the country. It was the site of The Centennial Exposition in 1876 and several buildings from that earlier fair still stands.
