You are going to take your plexiglass and you are going to laid it on the counter. You are going to take your images and you are going to place them on top of the plexiglass facing up. If they would have letters or anything like that, you would be able to read it, so you know you have it on the correct position.
Take your paper and make sure it is the right size. Give about a fourth to half an inch leeway. And take your photo paper and you are going to peel the protective layer, you are going to place it—glossy side facing down. Take your board. Cover it, black side facing down. You are going to take your clips and you are going to clip everything together, make sure it is nice and tight. This will assure you a really good image.
So you are going to take it, now, and you are going to place it over another board so when we go outside, it does not get exposed to the sun, you are going to flip it, expose your image to the sun for 60 seconds. Place the board back over it after 60 seconds, take it inside.
You are going to unclip the clips. You are going to take your paper and you are going to put it into the Tupperware container with water, you are going to let that sit for 15 minutes. You are going to see a ghost image appear, this will assure you that you did it correctly. Did you see the ghost image is appearing?
After 15 minutes, what you are going to do is you are going to take it out of the water. You are going to place it on another screen and you are going to wash it. The residue will come right off—this is the part that was unexposed to the sun. This may take a little while, so just scrub and make sure you do not scrub too hard.
Now after you do all that, you are going to check it out and make sure there is no residue left. This one looks nice and clean. You are going to take it back outside for 15 minutes—glossy side facing up and you are going to re-expose to the sun. You are going to let it dry first till it feels like paper, and then you cut it and you have your screens.
