I am back with another tutorial for you, for general tutorial stuffs on how to create something. You probably want to view that before you go to this unless you know how. It is located in my videos, you will see it. It's just the first one of this. So today for you I am going to make a cel-shaded object, it's pretty simple, once you get the hang of it, even though I still *** it up.
Alright, first thing I am going to do is create a ball, right there. I am going to make it red, I am going to click on Full Bright Red here next to Color. It just you don't need to, it just looks brighter. Next, I am going to Edit, and I am going to put this over. Alright Shift+click it and pull it up, now I am going to make this one Black, cel-shading looks good in black. Next, I am going to resize it, bring it up to 5.00 to 6.00 or 01, it doesn't have to be exact, I mean I will put it 6.01 or 02.
Alright I am going to go to the Object, again Hollow it out right here, just as far up as I can get it. Alright I got that. Now, I am going to Select Texture over here right underneath the Focus in the top of the menu. Hit Select Texture, click on the outside and you go down to your texture thing, click on it and I have one called Alpha 2.0. I will tell you how to get that in a little bit. I'll click on that, hit Select and now you can see there's a little invisible type thing around it, say, just like a little invisible layer.
So, I am going to go back up here and hit Position. I am just going to drag this down right on top of it like that. And there you have it, that is how you cel-shade something. It can work with really any kind of object. But you can see, you go all the way around and that still leave the middle visible. It's just a basic like bold black outline form and it looks pretty good on avatars. In fact I will give you an example of what I made, get the paddle off here, alright. Made this one a couple of weeks ago, Mr. Peanut. This just shows what it will look like with cel-shading on a avatar, it can look -- just with any object all I could do is just make it bigger and it will work out for the best, yeah, that's about it for do you cel-shade.
I don't think I would show you anything else. I guess I could show you something about Scripts. Since I am not very good at scripts anyway, I will bring out something here, how about a free Torture Spin. I will drag this out. I made it earlier for a theme we were doing. There we go, this is, maybe an idiot. Alright, what you do with this is you make -- well I made a basic avatar type deal. Then I made little knives and I stuck them in there and I got some blood textures and I'll edit that. Now you can see some of the Scripts I got some called the Rotation Script, you can get that anywhere. But that also leaves with this, if you want the Alpha or the Rotation Script or anything like that, come to me in SecondLife, my name is Drokn LeSuere, its Drokn LeSuere, you can probably see it right there. And just come to me, contact me somehow and I will give you the scripts.
Oh! for the rotations if you want to spin it different way, you just got to Edit it. We will see here is a targeted omega and you will have a zero, one, zero say I want to spin it different way, I will change that one to zero and I will change this other zero to one, it's just that simple to edit, stuff like this and you will save it, here we go. Now I have taken off and it will be spinning in different direction, which doesn't look near as good, but it's just as funny.
Alright, that does it for me, just contact me somewhere, I am on sometimes, so I will try and get that stuff to you. Yeah, I will hope we'll make some more tutorials for you when I get not as suckier. And I hope that I could be a some kind of bit a help. I leave you with the giant neck avator because robots are *** cool, serious. I will also show you how to do something like this in the future. It takes a little bit more time. Anyways, me logging off, have a good day.
