See Your Full Twitter Network
Hi. This is Mike Callahan, Doctor File Finder and welcome to your ButterScotch.com Tutorial on taking a look at your Twitter Network.
Now there are a number or sites all over the internet that give you different perspective on your Twitter network.
I’m here at Twitter.Mailana.com. The links will be in the show notes and I’ve taken Andy Walker one of the lab rats, put him in here, there he is in the center and the thickness of the red blanks indicates who he talks to the most. The top 20 are also listed over here on the right hand side. You can get other information at who should you be following, find friends, near Toronto and so on. So, an interesting perspective.
Another site is Twitter Spectrum. Well, what this does is it allows you to search for the kinds of things that are being talked about and their relationships. So, I put in Flu and Measles to Diseases. And you can see that over under the flu side, the overwhelming word that’s used is Swine. Measles side did not saw definitive.
Another site is TwitArcs and what this does is on the left hand side, it shows you people that are repeated and on the right hand side it shows you commonly repeated terms. Also down the center, you can go through and you can highlight individual twits.
And lastly, TweetVolume which is Tweetvolume.com. You could put in up to five words or phrases and see how often they appear on Twitter. So once again, just out curiosity, I put in flu which is the all around winner weather, diet, food and children. Flu and food seem to be the winners here with diet loosing up.
So, this is just an example of some of the websites that are available to help give you different perspectives and different information about your Twitter Network. And that’s all there’s to it.
