Chris Wright: The first principle for making conflicts more harmonious is self-awareness of the pressures inside that affect the relationship with an intention to come into balance to do something about it. If each of us are not aware of the pressures inside that affect others in their relationship, for denial, if we have no sense of that and how is ever going to change and if each of us also has no sense of why we’re not responding to the other persons needs and what resistances are. Instead we just make the other partner wrong. How is it ever going to change?
So, self-awareness is the most important, it is the foundation of the whole relationship working. So, if we’re going to have harmony in this relationship, it becomes important to become self-aware of how we’re affecting the relationship and how we are responding each others needs.
