Lapel Grab/Chin Jab
Chin Jab, a great weapon, you got to be careful of it, because it's rapid articulation of the neck from a slack to a person who is standing over the loose neck. It's the highest in the chain of things you could do from a Lapel grab, so be grabbed in a Lapel. If I throw a chin jab, I have got to be prepared that I really hurt him badly.
So you never use this on a drunk or someone who you don't think really meant you harm. All you are doing is, he grabs you, you are going to vault off the back foot pushing your whole body weight forward to him. At the same time the weapon originates under the line of vision, come up, impacts the chin and we are a fair bam in a lot at World War II clinicians basically say, you get your hands in his eyes. That actually slows it down. That's where we differ".
So all I am doing is, turn head in side nap. What I am doing is, when he grabs me, is -- I am coming right up underneath and when I hit it, it's going to rapidly articulate his head, most of the time he will get upside down; and that's it. That's a serious technique that is likely to create some serious issues. Now are you are going to kill a guy, I don't know, break his neck, I don't know, all I know is that there are a lot of things I could do to control him, hit him or things that I can manipulate, that's the most damaging.
