David Lupberger: Hi, I’m David Lupberger with servicemagic.com. I’m here with Dale Mandell from Samsung and we’re going to look at the couple of different things that they manufacture. We’re looking at the Staron countertop. Because this is gorgeous, can you tell me a little bit more about this?
Dale Mandell: Yes, sure David, absolutely. This is the, as you said, the Staron countertop. It’s a high performance countertop for homes, ideal for the kitchen, extremely hygienic, seam free, no open joints. It’s probably the healthiest kitchen countertop you could choose from.
In addition to the countertop material, Samsung also produces the Staron sinks and bowls, and if you notice, this is actually a rather unique way that it’s installed, so there’s no gap or ridge that separates the top from the bolts, so it’s really a great choice. One of the nice features about Staron is it’s available in so many colors. We have 76 colors in the line to fit fortunately any d?cor.
David Lupberger: 76 colors, now question, when I see a solid surface. Can it be scratched, can it be burned, what happens?
Dale Mandell: You know, what’s interesting is virtually anything will scratch or has a potential to burn, but the nice thing about solid surfacing is that the color is throughout its entire thickness. So our store on countertops are fully repairable, They can be refurbish, so you can have it installed then five years later, you can refurbish this and it will look as good as the first day it went out.
David Lupberger: And this may not be a great analysis but somewhat I think like a hardwood floor that you can refurbish it and bring back all that natural color.
Dale Mandell: No, I think that’s an excellent analogy because you can, since like I said no top surface layers you can re-sand it, re-polish it and it’s going to look great.
David Lupberger: In 76 different colors
Dale Mandell: Beautiful colors, various patterns to choose from, some are very fine particulates to large particulates, so there’s something for everyone to.
David Lupberger: Wonderful, thank you
Dale Mandell: You’re welcome.
